HOW IT STARTED…
Blu Eliis, the visionary behind M.A.D.E. Community, recognized a need to cultivate a space for creatives and entrepreneurs in her cherished Brooklyn. As the landscape of her neighborhood began to shift, with local businesses struggling to stay afloat due to a lack of funding, resources, and support, Blu felt compelled to take action. She saw not just businesses, but dreams flickering out, and was determined to create an ecosystem that would foster resilience, inspire creativity, and empower the entrepreneurial spirit. With her deep roots as an event producer and former small business owner, Blu understands firsthand the transformative power of community. Her mission is to build a thriving, collaborative national network where individuals can connect, learn, and grow, ensuring that those who desire community feel supported as they continue to pursue their dreams.
